Depth filters with unique properties
GELCROC
GELCROC GCF consists of 100% polypropylene.
The special feature of GCF is that it has special thicker, thermally bonded macro-denier polypropylene fibers, which form a rigid and highly porous depth filter matrix. This matrix can withstand highly viscous liquids (up to 20 Pa·s) or dispersions with a very high load of solid particles.
The multi-layered, gradient depth filter medium distributes the dirt load across the various sections, resulting in a long service life.
Important for dispersions containing solids: GELCROC GCF is highly selective, meaning that particles larger than the specified pore size are removed, while smaller particles can easily pass through the filter.
In addition, GELCROC GCF offers excellent gel retention.

CSM DB
A depth filter cartridge with PP/PE bicomponent fibers, in which the polypropylene fibers are covered with a layer of polyethylene.
The fibers of the depth filter medium are thermally bonded by using the different melting temperatures of the two materials (polypropylene and polyethylene). This creates a strong bond between the fibers at every contact point in the depth structure.
The result is a highly rigid depth structure that eliminates the need for an inner core and prevents fiber migration.
The porosity of the depth filter is maintained throughout the entire service life of the filter.
