The hydrophobic UPE membrane (UHMWPE) is characterized by its high porosity membrane, particle removal down to 5 nanometers and extremely low extraction values. They meet critical purity requirements, offer consistent filter performance, and effectively reduce wafer defects down to 5 nm.

UPE membrane filter cartridges are produced by only a limited number of manufacturers and are used in chip production (wafer).
