Polyester filter cartridges

Polyester filter cartridges are highly hydrophilic, making them the ideal solution for the filtration of liquids with a high surface tension, such as most water-based solutions or dispersions. In the case of an aqueous dispersion, the hydrophilic properties of the polyester fibres allow particles finer than the specified micron rating to pass through easily. This is in contrast to the hydrophobic polypropylene fibres.

Chemical resistance:

Polyester fibres are known for their exceptional resistance to a broad spectrum of chemicals.

These include diluted acids, alcohols, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, solvents, oils and fats.

For instance:

benzene, cyclohexane, dimethyl formamide (DMF), ethyl acetate, hexane and 2-methoxyethyl acetate (MEK).

High temperature resistance: Polyester (PBT) filters can be used up to temperatures of up to 120 °C.

You can choose between Polyester depth or Polyester pleated cartridges.
