Membrane filter

Membrane filter cartridges can be divided into two main categories:

HYDROPHILIC

Hydrophilic membranes can be easily wetted with water and are preferred for the filtration of aqueous solutions. These are:

• PVDF membrane is highly resistant to acids, bases and oxidizing agents, making it an all-round membrane.
• PES membrane with very high porosity and an asymmetrical pore structure ensures the best flow rates.

HYDROPHOBIC

Hydrophobic membranes are used in solvent and fine chemical filtration. We supply:

• PTFE is a chemical- and temperature-resistant fluoropolymer. Due to its strength and broad chemical resistance, PTFE is frequently used. Hydrophobic PTFE membranes can be used for the filtration of organic solvents and gases.
• UPE (UHMWPE) are used almost exclusively in microelectronics.
